#186 In this video I look at the noise that is present on the output of a power supply and the various reasons for it being there. The noise level is of course dependent on power supply type - switching converters are usually more noisy than linear regulators, but you also need to factor in the noise already present on the input side, and finally the exact way in which the circuit is built will have an impact on the output.
