Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda, came to power after the 2064 election and is currently serving as the Prime Minister. Prior to this, he has held the position of Prime Minister twice.
Despite Prachanda's claims of developing the country and aspiring for a Singapore-like transformation, there is a lack of tangible progress in the past 15 years. His actions and activities suggest a greater focus on maintaining power rather than actively working towards the country's development. Consequently, he has experienced a loss of support from many of his former allies. Prachanda and his party, Maobadi, are gradually losing the trust of the people due to their perceived pursuit of personal power.
