After an exhilarating adventure at Sethan, we continued our journey to the mesmerizing Prashar Lake, a hidden gem nestled in the serene landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. The weather was absolutely perfect — not too cold yet sprinkled with snow, making the drive and the destination even more enjoyable.
The journey wasn’t without its challenges. On our way, we encountered a biker on a Royal Enfield Bullet struggling to navigate through the slushy terrain. With teamwork and determination, we successfully rescued him, adding a touch of camaraderie to the adventure.
Driving through the snowy trails in our Toyota Fortuner and Mahindra Scorpio N was a thrill of its own. Both SUVs handled the terrain well, making the drive both safe and fun. Upon reaching Prashar Lake, we were welcomed by breathtaking views that truly felt like stepping into a postcard.
We stayed at Bogchi Resort, located close to the lake. The resort offered stunning views from our room, but nothing could compare to the ethereal beauty of the lake itself. The serene water, surrounded by snow-covered hills, looked even more magical when captured through my drone. The aerial shots provided a bird’s-eye view of the lake, showcasing its unique charm.
We also took a small trek around the lake, soaking in the tranquility and natural beauty of the area. For the adventure enthusiasts, there were options for paragliding near the lake, but the setup didn’t appear very professional, so I decided to skip it this time.
Prashar Lake truly offers a unique experience with its pristine beauty and serene environment. Whether it’s the journey, the views, or the moments of adventure like rescuing a fellow traveler, this trip will always hold a special place in my travel diary.
