When Predators hit screens in 2010, it promised to recapture the raw tension and primal energy of the original Predator. Directed by Nimród Antal and produced by Robert Rodriguez, the film tried to breathe life back into a franchise that had been stumbling.
The movie follows a group of elite killers from various backgrounds—mercenaries, criminals, and soldiers—dropped into an unfamiliar jungle. As they unravel the mystery of their circumstances, they learn they're on an alien planet, serving as prey for a technologically advanced and relentless species of hunters: the Predators.
