This is a tutorial to learn how to improvise a 17th century melodic prelude, inspired by two preludes that were written down after a blind recorder player improvised them in the 17th century. We will use a few ingredients, which we will learn step by step. Each step is modular, and so is the form, so this video leads to many different possible outcomes.
