The present perfect continuous tense is used to describe an action that began in the past and is still continuing or has just recently finished, with an emphasis on the duration or process of the action. Structure: Subject + has/have + been + verb-ing I have been reading for two hours. She has been studying all day. Key Uses: Actions that started in the past and are still continuing: "They have been working here since 2010." Actions that were happening recently but have just finished, with a focus on the duration: "He has been running for an hour, and now he is tired." To describe temporary actions or situations: "I have been feeling a bit sick lately." Signal words: For, since, all day, all morning, recently, lately, etc.
