There is nothing wrong with clicking your notes in if that's your thing, but I grew up playing instruments so being able to incorporate some of those tactical characteristics into my beat making is essential for me. When making beats it's also important that I have a MIDI keyboard to play out melodies and a beat pad to program my drums. Now for the past 8 years, I've had the same two pieces of equipment in this category, those being the AKAI MPK 61 and the Native Instruments Maschine MK1, yes the original one. In the past few weeks though, my trusty Maschine finally gave out on me and I was looking into getting an MK3 Mikro but then I re-stumbled back into the ATOM by @presonus Audio Electronics . I've heard about the ATOM when it came out but I never gave it much thought because my Maschine worked fine and I'm just one of those people that for the most part if something works I tend to leave it be. In any case, I decided to go with the ATOM instead and I gotta tell you I am LOVING it so today I want to dive deep into what this thing is, what it does, why I love it and why maybe you'll love it too. #PreSonusATOM #ATOMReview #StudioOne
