Primrose Hill and Belsize Park Pubs

A tour of pubs in the Primrose Hill and Belsize Park areas of London, close to Camden, Regent's Park and Hampstead. It's a posh part of town, and many of the pubs have gone a bit gastro, but can I still find a decent historic boozer? As always I take a look at the architecture, interior and history of each pub, and a quick glance at the beer lineup (particularly the real ales). Along the way filming is interrupted by a pub cat, I ponder which of the 19th centuries many great engineers the Engineer is named for, I dig into whether the washington is really named after George Washington, we read some complaints from another Washington (Washington Irving) at the Haverstock Tavern about the noise the pub goers were making preventing him from concentrating on his writing; and finally we end on a high note at the Lord Southampton, a pub which happily has recently reopened after a long period of closure.
