What did we try?
Gazpacho Michoacano: A surprising mix of fruits with cheese, chili peppers, onions, and citrus juices. At first we thought it was strange, but the flavor won us over.
Traditional Food in Capula: At a local market, we sat down with a traditional cook and enjoyed pambazos, Michoacan enchiladas, and a delicious mole that left us speechless. Every bite was an explosion of flavors!
Carnitas de Quiroga: Considered the best in Mexico, these street carnitas were an unforgettable experience. The texture, flavor, and local atmosphere made this meal special.
Uchepos with Cream and Cheese: At the market in Morelia we bought uchepos, fresh cheese, and ranch cream, and prepared this delicacy at home. A simple but incredibly delicious combination!
Tacos Infierno: We closed the day with carne asada tacos at an iconic place in Morelia, and as always, the Mexican flavors did not disappoint.
