Propagating plants from cutting is very easy to do at home with just a pair of hand clippers and a pot full of soil. Some plants like this Hawaiian Red Ti are so hardy you could just stick them into the ground! Other plants such as basil, oregano, peppermint, you may want to start in pots first then transplant into the ground. I make the cuttings about 6" long (shaka size Hawaiian style) push them firmly into the soil and keep in a cool shady location where you can spray them with some water daily. Try it at home! I usually get close to 80% success rate with easy to propagate plants.
