This glorious 1972 Ford Pinto is everything the Runabout should have been, despite the Pinto's bad reputation and tendency for rear-end explosions. Originally built for modified production-class racing, this proper Pinto epitomizes the slow-car-fast experience—even if it sounds like an angry lawnmower. A peek under the hood reveals its original 210,000-mile short-block 4-cylinder engine, tuned to 120 horsepower, and fed by dual side-draft carburetors. To some, this is still the worst car ever made. But that's exactly why Nicole stopped in to meet with owner Joe Seeling, who'd dreamt of this car since he was 14 years old.
