Nationwide protests against President Donald Trump and his executive orders are planned for Feb. 5 and one is happening in Phoenix.
On Wednesday, demonstrators gathered at the state Capitol as part of a protest.
"I'm scared to death of what's happening to America right now," said one protester.
"Inflation is going up. People are having a harder and harder time," said another protester.
Those who took part in the protest did so for different reasons. They include tariffs, transgender rights, immigrant deportations, and the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
"I’m fed up with Elon Musk getting involved and taking our information," said one protester. "He’s freaking nobody. We didn’t vote for Elon Musk."
There is no official organizer to speak of, and there were other, similar protests were taking place in other parts of the country.
