When you cut a branch from a tree, be careful to do it the right way - first thing is to relieve the weight of the branch. This means cutting further away from the trunk as your first cut. In this video, I show you how to make those first couple of cuts, and I also discuss the use of pruning sealant (or rather, advise not to use it!).
