Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Hey guys, Gals - children of all ages, welcome back to the Johnny Go Vroom experience yet once again ! But seriously, thank you all for sticking with me and supporting the channel by views - and by likes, and even sharing the content. I never thought this would pick up any steam and I am constantly baffled that anyone gives a damn what I think given my often polar opposite to the status quo opinions at times. I’m grateful to be able to chat and share this euc journey and all the things that it entails. - In this episode we give a big round of applause to the community for its very decisive support of Dawn. Particularly Roger, Clarkpads and Begode. Find out what a “hard stop” is and how they can impact your life. The “Hard Stop” Effect – Why Sudden Stops Are Dangerous, Even with a Helmet A hard stop happens when the head suddenly and completely stops moving—like in a crash or fall. Even with a helmet, the brain keeps moving inside the skull, leading to potential injuries such as: • Coup-Contrecoup Injuries: The brain slams into the skull, then rebounds, causing damage on both sides. • Rotational Forces & Shearing: If the head twists on impact, nerve connections can tear, leading to concussions or traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). • Helmet Limitations: While helmets absorb impact and prevent skull fractures, they don’t stop the brain from moving inside the skull. How to Reduce the Risk ✅ Ride at safe speeds to minimize sudden impact risk. ✅ Use full-face helmets with MIPS to reduce rotational forces. ✅ Stay aware of hazards to avoid sudden deceleration events. Even at moderate speeds, a hard stop can cause serious brain trauma—prevention is key! 🚲💨 These settings can completely change the range and performance of your master 4 -soft mode -off road -leveled -1 degree forward tilt in app At intersections, drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians instinctively anticipate movement at familiar speeds: • Pedestrians (Sidewalks): 3-5 mph • Cyclists (Bike Lanes): 12-15 mph • Vehicles (Streets): 25+ mph When speeds exceed these expectations—like an e-bike going 25+ mph in a bike lane or a cyclist riding 15+ mph on a sidewalk—drivers and pedestrians often misjudge distance and timing, leading to collisions. Key Risks at Intersections: • Drivers expect slower speeds and may not see fast-moving cyclists in time. • Higher speeds reduce reaction time, increasing crash severity. • Cyclists on sidewalks or fast-moving e-bikes in bike lanes create unpredictability, leading to right-hook and left-cross collisions. How to Stay Safe: ✅ Ride at appropriate speeds for your space (e.g., sidewalk speeds ~5 mph, bike lane speeds ~12-15 mph). ✅ Slow down before intersections to match expected speeds. ✅ Be predictable & visible—use hand signals and eye contact. ✅ Expect driver misjudgments and stay ready to react. Understanding speed expectations can help prevent accidents and make intersections safer for everyone. 🚲💨 Thanks so much again for the support , Cheers , Use any of the links below to ride with the gear or wheels i love most from people i trust and support 🔹 Get the P1 Max gloves, V14 Adventure, or T4 Pro locally at PEV Connection (Florida EUCs) – No coupon codes: 🔗 https://www.pevconnection.com/ 🔹 For the P1 Max gloves, V14 Adventure, or E-Rides pedals in the UK & abroad, visit E-Rides (Use code: “JohnnyGoVroom”) 🔗 https://e-rides.com/ 🔹 Looking for the V14 on the East Coast or Midwest?
