Punta Arenas Puerto Williams ferry, beautiful journey in Chilean Patagonia!
Epic episode of 'ANDO EN BARCO' (Riding Ships, in English) with the ferry trip Punta Arenas - Puerto Williams, through the Chilean Patagonia. This legendary public transport boat crosses the Strait of Magellan, different channels of Chilean fjords, the beautiful Alberto de Agostini National Park, the Cordillera Darwin (continuation and end of the Cordillera de los Andes), the avenue of glaciers in the Beagle Channel , in addition to seeing a lot of marine fauna in the more than 30 hours of navigation.
The 'Punta Arenas - Puerto Williams' route is made only by the company 'Transbordadora Austral Broom' (TABSA), a Chilean shipping company that has different public transport routes in the area. The 'Yaghan' ship was built in Chile in 2011, by the 'Asenav' shipyard in 'Valdivia'. The ship has capacity for 93 passengers with 'Semi Cama' and 'Cama 180°' seats, in addition to including meals with breakfast, lunch and dinner according to schedule.
This trip was one of the most anticipated journeys in my vacations in Chilean Patagonia, an extremely beautiful journey. On the route we could see animals such as Commerson's dolphins (Cephalorhynchus commersonii), imperial cormorants, seagulls, whales, penguins, sea lions, among others.
