We came home after 9 days away to baby quail chicks that were in worse condition than any animal I’ve ever owned. When we left, the brooder was full of 18 healthy quail chicks. We came home to about a dozen. In this video I share the essential basics of raising quail chicks during their first few weeks, how I found the surviving chicks, and what I think happened—even though we paid a petsitter to visit them every day.
