Faisal ist einer der wenigen Informatiker weltweit, der klinische Studien leitet, um seine Arbeit „vom Algorithmus zum Krankenbett“ zu bringen. Sein Ansatz: Aldo Faisal plädiert für eine transdisziplinäre Herangehensweise, die neben den aktuellsten Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet der Künstlichen Intelligenz auch Erkenntnisse über die menschliche Entscheidungsfindung, hohe medizinische Fachkompetenz sowie tiefgehende Kenntnis über die regulatorischen und politischen Rahmenbedingungen einschließt.
Die Queen`s Lecture findet in englischer Sprache statt. Die Veranstaltung wird von der Britischen Botschaft und vom British Council Germany unterstützt.

"Human-AI Loops – Data-Driven Pathways to the Future of Healthcare" – A Lecture by Aldo Faisal, Imperial College London
Professor Faisal is one of the few computer scientists world-wide that leads clinical trials to take his work from algorithm to the bedside and has won numerous international research prizes and awards. AI for health cannot be solved using off-the-shelf AI techniques and requires us to fundamentally revisit the problem to develop patient-ready solutions. This leads to new convergence science bringing together foundations of artificial and human intelligence, medicine, and regulation.
The Queen's Lecture will be held in English and is supported by the British Embassy and the British Council Germany.
