From the north of Queensland to Victoria, communities are being warned it's not over yet, with relentless rain, scorching heat, bushfires, and storms wreaking havoc.
For a third straight day, rain has pelted the regions from Cairns to Townsville. Meanwhile, heatwaves sweltered Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth, and bushfires continued to run out of control in the Victorian Grampians.
