Use the font tool and instancing in Blender to quickly add numbers to all of the faces of your dice model! These numbers and fonts can be quickly changed in the future to match whatever custom dice project you have :) Technique adapted to recent Blender versions (2.8+) (thanks to reddit user u/not-a-taken-username!) Quick summary: *Create a text object *Parent the text object to the die *Enable face instancing in the die's "Object Properties" *Make duplicates real *Make duplicates single users (Object & Data) *Renumber, rotate, scale, translate, and extrude text as needed **MAKE COPY OF THESE FOR FUTURE USE** *Once satisfied, select all text objects and convert to mesh *Select die and boolean (difference) the text mesh to carve the numbers Hope this helps some of you out!
