Each month we will create a variety of pillow covers. The designs will be easy to modify to suit your preferred size and will include a variety of construction techniques which such as applique, foundation piecing and traditional quilt block construction. Our first pillow cover is called the SNOW FLOWER and will teach you all about reverse applique. The SNOW FLOWER pillow cover can be modified by removing the borders. The center is 16" finished and adding the first border makes it 18" square. If you want a make it 20 inches include the outer border.
Each month the pillow sizes will vary and we will learn a new skill such as adding a zipper, or adding piping to a pillow. I will even show you how to make your own pillow insert in this series. These quilted pillow projects are scrap fabric friendly!!
