Rabbit Copied Chrysler

Steve examines a 1986 Dodge Omni to correct the myth Chrysler’s front-drive sub-compact Omni / Horizon was a re-badged Volkswagen Rabbits (known as the Golf after 1984). The opposite is true, the 1974 Volkswagen Rabbit actually borrowed heavily from Chrysler Europe’s Simca 1100 – which became the 1978 Dodge Omni / Plymouth Horizon. Watch the video for proof.
