Bismillah Khan, often referred to by the honorific title Ustad, was an Indian musician credited with popularizing the shehnai, a subcontinental wind instrument of the oboe class. He has beautifully Raga Shivaranjani in its most authentic form which in itself is a very melodious Raga. This Raga is similar to Raga Bhoopali but has Gandhar Komal instead of Shuddha Gandhar as in Bhoopali.
