Classes 20 and 43 take 769s to Eastriggs, Pair of Class 397s head to Doncaster Rail Adventure Eastriggs Springfield Quintinshill Carlisle Citadel 24, 25 & 26 February 25 Recorded over three windy days! The highlight of this recording is obviously the Rail Adventure 43s with a pair of hired 20s collecting a pair of barrier coaches at Eastriggs before bringing two Class 769 units for store at Rail Sidings Limited of Eastriggs. This was done over two days. On the third I briefly nipped into Carlisle to check the numbers of the Class 43s before they departed south taking the 20s to Kidderminster and the Severn Valley Railway. I think it was unusual to see Class 20s other than on charters these days! We also see a pair of Class 397s in the Down Loop at Quintinshill en route to Doncaster under their own power. A Rail Operations Group working. A few other trains at Springfield and Quintinshill. The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
