The crime scene recreation in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case concluded around 3 pm on June 17. The exercise was conducted in the presence of Raja’s wife and prime accused, Sonam Raghuvanshi, along with co-accused Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan and Anand Kurmi.
However, Raj Singh Kushwaha, another co-accused, was not part of the recreation as he was not present at the crime scene during the incident.
During the reconstruction, the police recovered a second machete (dao), which they believe was used in the killing of Raja Raghuvanshi.
Speaking to the media, East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem said that Vishal was the first to attack Raja and confirmed that Sonam was present when the murder took place.
