राजगीर बिहार का एक प्राचीन शहर है। राजगीर के बाहरी इलाके में मशहूर 2,500 साल पुरानी साइक्लोपियन दीवार है। यहां विश्व शान्ति स्तूप, गिद्ध पर्वत, सोन भंडार गुफाएं और वेणु वन सहित कई दर्शनीय स्थल हैं।
यह क्षेत्र जैन और बौद्ध धर्म में उल्लेखनीय है। यह जैन तीर्थंकर मुनिसुव्रत का जन्मस्थान था, और अरिहंत महावीर और गौतम बुद्ध के साथ निकटता से जुड़ा हुआ था। भगवान महावीर और भगवान बुद्ध दोनों ने 6 वीं और 5 वीं शताब्दी ईसा पूर्व के दौरान राजगीर में अपनी मान्यताओं को पढ़ाया था।
Rajgir is an ancient city in Bihar. The famous 2,500 years old Cyclopean Wall on the outskirts of Rajgir. There are several places of interest including Vulture Peak, World Peace Pagoda, Son Bhandar Caves and Venu Van.
This area is also notable in Jainism and Buddhism. It was the birthplace of the Jain Tirthankar Munisuvrata and closely associated with the Arihant Mahavira and Gautama Buddha. Both Lord Mahavira and Lord Buddha taught their beliefs in Rajgir during the 6th and 5th centuries BC.
