This poor 2002 Ram 1500 V8 suffered a FIRE under the hood when one of the fuel lines BURST!!
The owner took it to a local shop for repairs.
They replaced the distributor, Crankshaft sensor, and "fixed" some wiring by the firewall.
However, it's still not running right, drastically LOSING POWER going uphill, and at times STALLING altogether!
It is setting two relevant codes:
P0340-CMP Signal
P1391-Loss of Cam or Crank Signal
Let's get out the PicoScope and see why the Ram is having a bad day...will any parts be required?
