Let's turn some ordinary Ramen into something delicious! Come along with me today as I cook for one, just me! I keep my meals pretty simple, especially when cooking for one. You're important enough to cook delicious food for yourself, just like you do for others! BREAKFAST RAMEN OMELET INGREDIENTS: 1 package ramen noodles with seasoning packet (I used chicken flavored), 1 Tblsp butter, 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers, 1/2 cup chopped onions, 4 slices Black Forest deli ham, 4 large eggs (beaten), salt & pepper to taste INSTRUCTIONS: In a pot, cook the ramen in boiling water according to the package directions, except DO NOT add the seasoning packet to the water. Drain the noodles & put them back in the pot. Add 1/2 Tblsp of butter & the contents of the seasoning packet. Stir until the butter is melted & the seasoning is distributed evenly throughout the noodles. In a large skillet melt the remaining 1/2 Tblsp of butter over medium heat. Add the peppers & onions. Saute stirring occasionally, until softened (usually 3 to 4 minutes). Add the ham & cook, stirring occasionally until it is warmed through and lightly browned. Add the noodles & the beaten eggs to the pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs have set. Taste & season with salt & pepper if needed. PHILLY CHEESESTEAK RAMEN BOWL INGREDIENTS: 1 pack ramen (any flavor as you will not be using the seasoning packet), 4 ounces thinly sliced steak (I used thin sandwich steaks, like Steak-umms), 1 Tblsp olive oil, onion, thinly sliced, 1/2 to 1 Tblsp minced garlic, 1/2 c beef broth, 1/2 c heavy cream, 1/2 c shredded provolone cheese, salt & pepper to taste INSTRUCTIONS: Discard ramen seasoning packet. Cook ramen noodles to al dente. Drain the noodles (reserve some of the water if you would like.) In a large skillet over medium - high heat, add olive oil and saute the onions & peppers. Add in the beef and cook till no longer pink. Add minced garlic and cook until aromatic. Drain grease from pan. Pour beef broth and heavy cream into skillet. Stir in and let it simmer for a few minutes. Gradually stir in the provolone cheese until the sauce is smooth & creamy. Season with salt & pepper to taste. Add the ramen noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together until the pasta is coated with the sauce and everything is evenly distributed. Enjoy! BEEF & GRAVY RAMEN BOWL INGREDIENTS: 1 pack ramen noodles (discard seasoning packet), 1 Tblsp olive oil, 1/2 to 1 Tblsp minced garlic, sliced onions, 1 pack brown gravy mix, thinly sliced steak such as Steak-umms, salt & pepper to taste INSTRUCTIONS: Cook ramen noodles to al dente. Drain the noodles, reserving some of the water. In a skillet, heat oil on a medium heat. Add onions and saute till translucent & soft. Add in minced garlic. Cook till aromatic and starting to get slightly brown. Add your thinly sliced steak into the skillet. Cook till browned. Drain grease from pan. Prepare the brown gravy according to the package directions and add into the skillet. As it starts to thicken add in your Ramen noodles and pasta water. Stir to combine and let the gravy thicken. Salt & pepper to taste. Serve & Enjoy!
