Go inside the cockpit of a Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet as the Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron performs an air show over San Francisco as part of the Bay Area's annual Fleet Week festivities. Ride along with former Blue Angels Commanding Officer, George "Boss" Dom, as the Blues takes off from Oakland International Airport before performing a 45 minute demonstration above iconic San Francisco landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf and Coit Tower. Listen carefully to the cockpit communication broadcast between the pilots and the specialized voice cadence leveraged by Boss Dom to guide the Blues as they fly just 18 inches apart from one another. This video was recorded on October 12, 1997. 0:01 - Takeoff Checks 0:50 - Taxi to Runway 3:43 - Takeoff From Oakland International 5:50 - Transit to Show Site 8:12 - Delta Head On Arrival 10:36 - Diamond 360 12:10 - Diamond Roll 13:49 - Diamond Aileron Roll 16:34 - Diamond Dirty Loop 19:19 - Double Farvel 21:25 - Fan Break 23:40 - Left Echelon Roll 25:41 - Line Abreast Loop 28:34 - Vertical Break 30:58 - Tuck Under Break 33:15 - Barrel Roll Break 36:12 - Delta Roll 38:03 - Fleur de Lis 40:00 - Loop Break 45:36 - Delta Flat Pass 46:28 - Cleared for Candlestick Flyover 47:56 - Flyover of NFL Game | 49ers vs Rams 50:24 - Delta Left Pitch Up Break 51:19 - Landing 1997 Blue Angels Team 1.
