मंडळी काल रात्री प्रकृती बिघडल्यामुळं टाटा सन्सचे चेअरमन रतन टाटा यांना मुंबईच्या ब्रीच कँडी रुग्णालयात दाखल करण्यात आलं होतं. त्यांना उच्च रक्तदाबाचा त्रास सुरू झाला होता. डॉक्टरांनी त्यांचे सर्वतोपरी प्रयत्न केले अखेर काळाने घाला घातलाचं. 9 ऑक्टोबरच्या रात्री काल रतन टाटा या उद्योग क्षेत्रातील महामेरूनं मुंबईत अखेरचा श्वास घेतला अन अख्खा देश स्तब्ध झाला. आज नरिमन पॉईंट ते वरळी अशी त्यांच्या पार्थिवाची अंत्ययात्रा निघणार असून वरळीच्या स्मशानभूमीत त्यांच्यावर अंत्यसंस्कार केले जाणार आहेत असं कळतंय. त्याआधी NCPA मध्ये त्यांचं पार्थिव अंत्यदर्शनासाठी ठेवलं जाणार असून रतन टाटा यांना श्रद्धांजली म्हणून मंडळी उद्योग व्यवसायात असून सुद्धा पैशाबद्दल जास्त आकस नं ठेवणारा राजामाणूस, देशावर कसलंही संकट येवो, पाय रोवून देशापाठी खंबीरपणे उभं राहून सढळ हाताने मदत करणारा देवमाणूस भारतीय उद्योग क्षेत्राचा जगात डंका वाजवणारा अतीव कर्तृत्ववान उद्योगपती अशी रतन टाटा यांची जगाला ओळख आहे. पण कधीकाळी रेस्टॉरंटमध्ये काम करणाऱ्या रतन टाटा यांनी एवढं मोठं उद्योग साम्राज्य कसं उभारलं ? त्यांच्या निधनानंतर देशातील प्रत्येक नागरिकासह राजकीय नेत्यांच्या पण भावना का दाटून आल्यात ? रतन टाटा यांच्यानंतर त्यांच्या संपत्तीचा वारसदार कोण त्याचा आढावा घेऊ....
