劳勿为马来西亚彭亨州最古老的市镇之一，历史最早可追溯到英殖民时期的18世纪。劳勿市主要以旅游业及农业为主，当地特产名种猫山王榴梿（Musang King），当地人也以此维生。
金矿枯竭后，劳勿最主要的经济活动为农业，主要农产品为橡胶（橡胶产业目前开始面临没落）、油棕、热带水果种植（可可豆、香蕉、榴莲等）等，其中就劳勿的榴莲被誉为最好，其中就有名种榴莲猫山王（Musang King），吸引源源不断地中国及新加坡游客前来品尝。
Raub is a town in Raub District, Pahang, Malaysia. Raub is one of the oldest towns in Pahang. Raub became famous in the early 20th century for its mining resource (gold).
After the gold mines were depleted, the main economic activity of Raub is agriculture. Main commodity crops in Raub are natural rubber, oil palm, cocoa and local fruits, like durians. Durians grown in Raub are probably the best in Malaysia. The town is styled as the "durian capital of Malaysia" attracting a steady stream of visitors, especially tourists from Singapore and China.
