Gov. Wes Moore announced a series of five actions to protect public servants, communities and the economy in Maryland impacted by federal workforce layoffs, firings and changes to federal funding. The governor said the state is prioritizing building out online resources, connecting federal workers to opportunities in education, working with local leaders to ensure resources are meeting people where they are, recruiting federal workers into available state jobs and updating processes to expedite hiring.
