Raye first teased “Born Again” during her Instagram Live on June 30, 2021. Originally intended as a track for her debut album, the track was ultimately left out by her former label. A demo version later leaked online in 2023, which is this version.
This song was later be reworked and released as a collaboration with LISA (member of BLACKPINK) and Doja Cat on February 6, 2025.
