It is Saturday, August 17th, 2024, as the Reading and Northern Railroad ran the third and final Iron Horse Ramble for the 2024 season. Leaving from the new Nesquehoning Regional Railroad station with the mighty T-1 #2102 on point as it traverses the steep grades and breath taking scenery that the Lehigh Line has to offer.
This chase starts at the Wilkes-Barre, Scranton Regional Railroad station located at the end of the Reading and Northern' s 114 mile main line. The show begins with the arrival of none other than the T-1 #2102 with it's consist and diesel helpers leading the train into the station. From here we see the consist being turned on the wye and also the departure and chase back South towards Nesquehoning.
