Weathering a modern electric locomotive is probably the most demanding type of weathering on a model railroad. This since they typically not are dirty, rusty or worn. The weathering then needs to be very subtile, but yet enough to lift the original plastic model appearence to a realistic look. This video gives you a guide in how such weathering can be made. The method is valid for a large number of similar locomotives with bright colored paint scheme. This Märklin locomotive, the Swedish SJ RC 1058 was released as a "one-time-series" back in 2011 by Märklin. It has item number 37418. However, most manufacturers like Piko, Trix, Roco and Fleischmann has released different versions of this ASEA built locomotive over the years. *************************** Please support the channel to help me, helping you & reaching out to new people, so they also can discover the ultimate hobby: Model Railroading! 1.
