Hello Fiber Folks,
I’m starting a super exciting project today, because I am trying to recreate a sweater, my dream sweater, that I keep finding on Pinterest. This is my first time trying to directly replicate something, so I thought it would be fun to take you along on the journey with me.
In this first installation, I’ll be talking about the yarn I am using and how I got started with swatching the stitch pattern and planning the construction of my oversized cream cabled sweater.
The yarn I’m using is Patons Classic Wool Worsted from my yarn pantry, but if you’re interested in Canadian alternatives, I would suggest checking out Longway Homestead, Topsy, and Briggs and Little.
If you’re looking to connect with me elsewhere, you can find me on Instagram and Ravelry, or you can send me a quick email!
