Clay that becomes too dry can be recycled back into a useable state. In this video I took all the different scrap clays in my studio (white, black, red, and brown stonewares) and combined them into a new clay mix.
I didn't know what look I would get when all the clays were combined, but I was pleasantly surprised by the light buff colored results. If you are mixing different clays together, just make sure they fire to the same temperature!
