Camping in a spacious tent with my collie lab cross dog (Indi) during some changeable New Zealand spring weather that brought rain, hail, snow and sunshine. I found a secluded camping spot not far from the road, by following a stream up a valley, that opened up into a lovely flat spot, surrounded by the mountains. The forecast was for snow and sure enough the snow began to fall lightly just on dusk. I awoke to a warm and sunny spring morning, that quickly melted the dusting of snow. Indi and I took the opportunity to explore the rock formations in the valley, and I searched for a cave or rock overhang in the hopes I could use it for my next camping adventure.
