東京都九庭園のひとつ旧岩崎邸庭園は、明治29年（1896年）に岩崎弥太郎の長男久彌の本邸として建てられたそうです。当時は1万5000坪の土地に、20棟もの建物が並んでいたそうですが、現存するのは洋館・撞球室・和館の３棟です。

Former-Iwasaki's mansion was built in 1896 as a main house for Iwasaki Hisaya who is first son of Iwasaki Yataro(founder of the Mitsubishi Zaibatsu).
At that time, There were 20 buildings on 49,500 ㎡ but now only 3 buildings on 16,500 ㎡.
