This week's episode see's The Young Master have his varnish removed plus as expected lots of overpaint from whomever "freshened" him up. Mr Williamson is that you ? I learn about the "breeching" ceremony and also the style of his clothes. We also look at how the fashion changed in portraiture of children in the 18th and 19th century! I also say overpaint a lot!
