One of the surprising things that I have come across after many years of teaching photography is the number of photographers who don’t rename their image files. Renaming should be an integral part of the digital workflow as it helps immeasurably with being able to store and - more importantly - find your photos. The video is divided into two parts: first a discussion of why we name and some best practice ideas, and second how to batch rename photos in Capture One Pro (although all image editors offer similar batch renaming).
