Where to look for properties?
1. Walk around the city and look at the ads. There are usually rental and sales ads on the front of houses. If you don't know Spanish, you can write to WhatsApp via text message. Or go into the building and talk to security.
2. Websites (Facebook, Clasipar).
Unfortunately, Facebook Marketplace takes into account the location of your device. And if you are abroad, Facebook will show you very few options.
3. You can rent temporarily through Booking and, if you like, negotiate a long-term rental with an owner.
4. Talk to local people or contact a real estate company. Often, the most interesting rental offers are only obtained by talking directly to people. Real estate agencies will charge a 50% commission. Sometimes there are ads from owners without commission for the agent, but this happens very rarely.
