This lectures looks at how to analyse repeated measures designs using the general linear model. We begin by discussing repeated measures deisgns. Then we discuss how repeated measures designs are a form of hierarchical data structure. We look at examples using both a one-way and two-way factorial design. We use the nlme package in R to analyse these and look at the interpretation, simple effects and post hoc tests.
There is an alternative version of this lecture using a more traditional RM-ANOVA approach (with the afex package) at https://youtu.be/UjXqZiA2XWc
