In this video, we’ll walk you through the process and show you how to replace the clutch and brake levers on a Honda CRF 250F dirt bike, or pretty much any dirtbike. This is a fairly easy process that can be done with basic tools in about an hour.
Come hang in the shop with a couple of guys sharing years of dirt bike knowledge. Whether you’re replacing your dirt bike levers because you’re starting to notice some slippage or otherwise poor performance, or maybe you just want some new levers or better quality levers - either way, this video has everything you need.
This video will help you remove the old clutch and brake levers from your dirt bike, so you can install your new levers, and then we’ll also show you how to adjust your levers once they’re installed on your motorcycle - that’s an equally important part of the process when it comes to replacing dirt bike levers.
Before we get started, there’s a few parts and supplies you’ll need to get:
1. Clutch and Brake Levers https://amzn.to/3TYrIgZ
2. Graphite Lube https://amzn.to/3Bvopq9
3. Blue Threadlocker https://amzn.to/3d8pkDC
This is one of many videos we are doing with this CRF 250 F. We’re also going to be working on some modifications to the gearing, suspension, and exhaust, plus we’ll be building a dual sport kit from scratch!
If you don't have a Honda but have a Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki or most any other motorcycle, this video will still help you, but the hand tools you’ll use may be a bit different.
We hope this video was helpful for you, and hopefully you’re ready for your own DIY dirt bike levers replacement! As always, if you have any questions or need help with anything, don’t hesitate to reach out to us - we’d love to help if we can!
