House Republicans block Democratic effort to subpoena Elon Musk 🚨 House Republicans voted Wednesday to table a motion that would have compelled Elon Musk to testify before Congress about his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and its access to federal IT systems. Democrats pushed to subpoena Musk amid concerns over DOGE’s role in a USAID shutdown, reported sidestepping of federal law at OPM, and DOGE workers gaining systems access at the Treasury Department. Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., defended DOGE’s work, calling it vital for government transparency and efficiency. But Rep.
