A cargo ship carrying 15 containers of sodium cyanide has collided with an oil tanker in the North Sea off the coast of the UK just 16 kilometres from land. The coastguard has called off the rescue mission for one of the crewmen who is currently unaccounted for. The 36 remaining crew members have been rescued, none of whom require any further medical assistance. The coastguard is left dealing with one of the worst maritime collisions in recent British history.
