To to access clinical menu in AirCurve 11 BPAP machine. Learn how to change pressure on BPAP Machine. Understand the difference between a BiPAP and a CPAP is important when making a purchasing decision. In this video we cover the difference between the ResMed AirSense 11 and the ResMed AirCurve 11.

CPAP devices deliver a steady, continuous stream of pressurized air to a patient's airways to keep them open during sleep. This single pressure setting helps prevent the collapse of the airway, which can interrupt breathing. CPAP is the most common treatment for all types of sleep apnea, including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), central sleep apnea (CSA), and mixed sleep apnea.

BiPAP devices, on the other hand, provide two levels of air pressure: a higher pressure when the patient inhales and a lower pressure when they exhale. This dual pressure setting is especially helpful for patients who have difficulty tolerating the continuous pressure from a CPAP machine or for those with certain types of respiratory disorders, heart conditions, or other illnesses that make breathing difficult. BiPAP can be particularly beneficial for patients with central sleep apnea, where the brain intermittently fails to signal the muscles to breathe, or for those with complex sleep apnea, a combination of obstructive and central sleep apnea.
