The language we use to talk about something influences the way we understand. In the case of AI, the metaphors we use to talk about it can end up distorting much more than they clarify. In this video we talk about the ways in which metaphors can both clarify and obscure--and we take a look at some of the common metaphors that get used to explain how AI works.
