Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new axe restoration project. I found this axe with a strange shape at the flea market. I have never seen before this an ax shape. For what is it for? I don't know, but after restore it's will be a good universal tool. Restoration process: I removed an old resin handle from an axe and used rust remove liquid. Then washed in cold water with cleaning agent. Then via circular wire brush and round sandpaper I cleaned an axe and corrector the back side. After I cleaned the surface and used the electrolysis process for metal etching. After washing, I putted axe in the iron chloride and then lightly polished it. For handle, I choose oak tree. For rivets, I used 5.5 mm brass and aluminum 8 mm. Also, made leather simplest scabbard for axe. As usual made an interesting test for you, I hope you will enjoy this restoration video. Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention! Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!
