Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new axe restoration. I found this rusty, an axe at a flea market. I assume that this axe is specifically designed for chopping firewood? If there is an option — leave a comment, thank you in advance!

After removing the old axe handle, I put it in a rust remover. Then I used a wire iron brush to clean the surface and made slots for welding on the axe. After welding, I cleaned the axe and tempered it. I made the bevels on the axe on a bandgrinding machine. For axe handle I chose ash tree.  After completing the handle, I made a sheath  out of leather. And of course I made a test for you.

Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!
