Restoration process:
I removed old handle from chisel, then used rust remover, after washing in and impregnated via oil. Also cleaned via iron cup brush and leave natural old texture. I completely re-sharpened it at a 20-degree angle.
In handle part I lost two pieces of wood because in process on lathe machine it's cracked, I don't knife why. Then I take beech tree and made finally new handle for mortise chisel. Also added some new design in it. I hope, you will enjoy this restoration video.
Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!
